There are quite a lot of countries in the world where prostitution is legal and for some, prostitution is forbidden and often hidden from the local authority’s eyes.
A number of women choose this profession willingly because they do not have choices and they need some money to support their families. Because of this, a number of feminists and advocates have since started campaigns for the rights of female sex workers who are vulnerable to abuse.
For the sake of general knowledge, here we have listed top ten countries in the world with the most prostitutes according to the number/percentage of sex workers out of 10,000 people on average.

10. Thailand
Thailand is located in Southeast Asia region and share the borders with Cambodia, China, Laos and Myanmar. According to the statistics, 45 of of 10,000 people are sex workers.
9. Germany
The European country is well-known for its fine beer. Germany is also known for prostitution. On average, 49 out of 10,000 people living in Germany are prostitutes.
